Data Set Language


Definition

<Data_Set_Language> describes the language used in the preparation, storage, and description of the data.   It is the language of the information object, not the language used to describe or interact with the metadata record. <Data_Set_Language> does not refer to the language of the metadata.

<Data_Set_Language>Language keyword</Data_Set_Language>

 
Usage
  • The <Data_Set_Language> field is highly recommended and can be repeated if data is available in more than one language.
  • <Data_Set_Language> must be selected from the following keywords list: English; Afrikaans; Arabic; Bosnia; Bulgarian; Chinese; Croation; Czech; Danish; Dutch; Estonian; Finnish; French; German; Hebrew; Hungarian; Indonesian; Italian; Japanese; Korean; Latvian; Lithuanian; Norwegian; Polish; Portuguese; Romanian; Russian; Slovak; Spanish; Ukrainian; Vietnamese.
